The Minister of Economy and Finance, Adji Otèth Ayassor (photo), participated on Tuesday in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) at the 36th Annual Meeting of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB, 56 countries).
The IDB is a faithful partner of Togo; a loyalty that cannot be denied because the Bank will give a financing of 7.5 billion CFA francs, on Wednesday, for education, particularly for the benefit of primary and secondary education.
In addition, Mr. Ayassor from Jeddah said that discussions were ongoing for a joint funding IDB / ADB from the Atakpamé-Kara route.
The Togolese Minister will also meet officials of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), on Wednesday, working on the road project Kpalimé-Atakpamé, in association with the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA). The contribution should be made in a few months.
