150 million CFA francs, the amount awarded to Ministry of Public Works by the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), on Monday, to strengthen the capacity of the National Laboratory for Building and Public Works.
The agreement was signed between the Managing Director of BADEA, Abdelaziz Khelef, and the Minister of Public Works, Andjo Tchamdja (photo).
The laboratory is responsible for control and monitoring of major projects in Togo.
Mr. Khelef also met the Prime Minister Gilbert Houngbo. The bank has become more involved in Togo in the sectors of agriculture, infrastructure and micro-finance.
