World Bank (WB) will continue its support to Togo in the implementation of structural reforms and reviving the economy.
On Monday, the WB experts and representatives of several ministries (Public Works, Transportation, Education, Energy, Agriculture, ...) discussed areas of intervention for the duration 2011-2012.
"The new program of assistance should be provided with sufficient resources to ensure growth and poverty reduction", wishes Dédé Ahoefa Ekoué (photo), Minister for Planning & Development.
The World Bank already supports Togo in terms of good governance and economic recovery.
The 2011-2012 plan focuses on financing infrastructure, boosting the production of phosphate and developing projects of public-private partnerships (PPP).
