Starting November, Lomé will have state-managed urban transport consisting of some sixty transit buses, some of which will be reserved for the service of University of Lomé.
Seven lines will be created. Adawlato-Zanguéra, Adawlato-sahel Terminal, Adawlato-Avépozo, Adawlato-Kégué. Kodjoviakopé loop (Boulevard de la République – Boulevard du 13 janvier), Agoényivé – Adidogomé, Adidoadin- French school through the streets of Aflao-Gagli (Djidjolé) and by l’Avenue François Mitterand.
Since September 2008, the capital of Togo has a small private network of public transport operated by Sotral. In 2010, the company transported nearly 500,000 passengers on the line Adidogomé - largest market in Lomé.
