Erosion of the UFC

The counting of the presidential results continues in the calm and serenity in Togo.

About 61% of ballots counted Faure Gnassingbe won 64% of the votes and Jean-Pierre Fabre, 31%%, representing a gap of more than 400,000 votes between the two main competitors in the presidential election.

There is a very large increase of abstentions in the traditional strongholds of the UFC.

If the UFC is still the majority in Lome and in part of southern positions experiencing high erosion.
We note, however, a significant increase in these geographical areas Faure Gnassingbé.
