President Faure Gnassingbé expressed his readiness to contribute to the consolidating relations between Togo and Liberia on the occasion of 164th anniversary of the independence of this country of West Africa.
He sent a congratulatory message on Monday to his counterpart Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf (photo) in which he reiterated his desire to develop ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Liberia is the first African nation to had achieved independence on July 26, 1847.
