Togo will be the center of the Olympics next week. The three Candidate Cities for Winter Olympic Games in 2018 will send delegations to the Togolese capital to convince the CNOT (Comité national olympique togolais) and its African partners to support them.

These three cities are Munich (Germany), whose delegation will be led by Katarina Witt, double Olympic and quadruple world champion in figure skating, and Chairman of the Nominating Committee, Pyeongchang (South Korea) and Annecy (France).

The South Korean delegation will include Cho Yang-ho, Chairman of the Nomination Committee, Park Yong-sung, head of the South Korean Olympic Committee (KOC) and Kim Yu-na, gold medalist in figure skating.

All these people will be in Togo for a reason, Lomé is hosting the meeting of the Association of Olympic Committees of Africa on June 27.
