Loik Le Floch-Prigent auditioned by the Togolese justice

Arrested in Abidjan on Friday followed an international arrest warrant issued by the Togolese judiciary, Loik Le Floch-Prigent (photo), the ex-CEO of the French oil corporation Elf, was extradited on Saturday evening to Togo.

He is supposed to heard as soon as Monday by the judicial system regarding an alleged scam targeting Emirati Abbas Al Youssef which took place two years ago and in which he lost 48 million dollars.

Two Togolese nationals involved in the scam have already be imprisoned, Agba Bertin Sow and former minister Pascal Bodjona.

On September the 2nd, Mr. Al Youssef directly implicated Mr. Bodjona and Le Floch-Prigent.
