Togo has acknowledged the National Transitional Council (CNT) as the "sole legitimate representative of the people and interests in Libya," said a statement from the Foreign Ministry, on Saturday.
"(...) The Government of Togo will continue to make necessary efforts, in concert with the international community to provide support for any initiative promoting research for a peaceful solution to the crisis and national reconciliation in this brother country" says the text.
