The trip was worth it. The Minister of Economy and Finance, Adji Otèth Ayassor and his colleague from Planning and Development, Dédé Ahoefa Ekoué, signed two financing agreements with the World Bank, on Monday afternoon in Washington.
The first part, $37 million, is for the Support to the agricultural sector (PASA). The second, being $28 million is the support budget for economic governance, it will, inter alia, allow the administration to strengthen its technical performance.
Mr. Ayassor welcomed these two agreements which will, according to him, mark the trust of the World Bank reform program initiated by Togo.
Adji Otèth Ayassor and Dédé Ahoefa Ekoué participated in the Spring Meetings of IMF and World Bank, last week in Washington.
