"La Brasserie du Benin" (BB, Castel Group, founded in 1949 by Pierre Castel) will invest 1.5 billion CFA francs to modernize its production unit in Kara (420 km from Lomé) built in 1982.
"This work aims to improve working conditions, increase production capacity and further improve quality," said John Bosco, the general manager of BB for Togo.
Founded in January 24, 1982, the Kara plant is used primarily for the Savannah regions, of Kara and Central Africa. The group has another unit in Lomé.
BB produces licensed product, particularly beer (33 Export, Eku, Flag, ...), soft drinks (Coca Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Youki, ...) and mineral water (Vitale).
