A curse seems to have struck Togo. On Wednesday the market of the town of Kara disappeared in flames and on Saturday it was the turn of Lomé's, the capital, to be devoured by flames.
The origin of both fires remain undetermined and there is an ongoing investigation.
President Faure Gnassingbé held talks with a delegation of merchants in order to express his solidarity and stressed that the government would do everything to come to their assistance.
The great market of Lomé is famous for tis collections of traditional african garments.
There no casualties in both incidents.
