Lomé will be hosting the African Union (AU) Summit from Monday, which is devoted to education in Africa.
Many African delegations are expected to attend.
Jean Ping, Chairman of the AU Commission will also be present.
53 countries will be represented by their Ministers of Education, stated Bernadette Essozimna Leguezim-Baloukas (photo), the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education and Literacy, on Monday.
The objective of this summit is to define a strategy for a competitive education system adapted to the current labor market.
