The World Bank on Wednesday approved a donation of $ 13 million (about 6.5 billion CFA francs) to help Togo in developing the private sector.
According to the institution, the focus will be on reducing the duration of formalities for the creation of businesses (75 to 5 days).
Another priority being, improvement of the performance of micro and small scale businesses to promote job creation and entrepreneurial skills.
The World Bank will also assist in the expansion of free zones and special economic zones to promote investment.
