The new head-quarters of Ecobank, construction of a luxury hotel and conference complex, launch of the functioning the of consular premises of the Chamber of UEMOA, the Togolese capital is out of its lethargy and could become a popular destination in West Africa.
On Friday, Soumaila Cissé, President of the UEMOA Commission, announced that a 5-storey building in two years will host the team of the Regional consular Chamber and offices representing the commission. Project cost: 8.5 billion CFA francs.
"The construction of this headquarter demonstrates the commitment of our organization to give back to the capital slogan of +Lomé la coquette+," said Cissé. He thanked the Togolese authorities for support.
A decision hailed by Dédé Ahoéfa Ekoué, the Minister of Planning, who signed the agreement on behalf of the government.
The project of construction has been assigned to Agetur-Togo.
