Thousands of Togolese youth seeking employment responded overwhelmingly to the call for civic engagement initiated by the Ministry of Development at the grass-root level, Crafts, Youth and Youth Employment, through its program of promoting National Volunteering (PROVONAT).
The objective of this initiative is to provide for a work experience that will later allow the youth to find employment in the government, the private sector or even starting their own business.
Each mission will last six months to one year.
This volunteerism is a move to fight against youth unemployment, which is a government priority.
