Nearly two and a half million pupils, four percent more than the figures for last year, returned to school Monday following the resumption of schools in Togo.
The pupils, from both the public and private schools, were returning to the clas srooms after months of vacation.
The Togolese Minister of Primary, Secondary Education and Literacy, Bernadette Essosimna Balouki-Leguezim, on Monday visited some schools in Lome, the capital, to check if the pupils were back in full force.
