The European Union (EU) observer mission for the parliamentary polls in Togo will remain in the country until the announcement of the final results, an official source said here Wednesday.
The EU mission led by Fioana Hall, deployed about 100 observers who visited 435 out of the 5, 930 polling stations across the countryWhile hailing the conduct of the vote last Sunday, Hall reported some flaws within the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI).
She said the EU mission would draw up a report in the next few weeks and make recommendations to the Togolese government.
