The announcement that Togo was recruiting 3500 people into the civil service has led, over the past few days, to long queues of unemployed graduates before the Employment Policy Division here.
Candidates are urged to get registered to be issued with a job-seeker card, a do cument needed by all candidates before being recruited.The mass recruitment will enable the Togolese government to find replacements fo r civil servants who retired over the past few years.
Between January and March, the State recruited 706 health agents and 1,200 teachers.
