Gaston Vidada, president of the "l'Union des forces de l'avenir" (UFA) was found riddled with bullets at his home in Lomé. The information was confirmed in the evening by the prosecutor. The assassination was not political, but rather villainous.
Vidada was a member of the "l'Organisation pour bâtir dans l'unité un Togo solidaire" (OBUTS) of former Prime Minister Gabriel Messan Agbéyomé Kodjo before breaking up with him in 2010.
Togo is not accustomed to such murders that resemble the settling of accounts like Colombians.
